GE Discovery MR750 3T Scanner housed at the new MRI Facility building now located on campus.
The Purdue MRI Facility underwent considerable change in 2016. First, two scanners were added on campus. The College of Health and Human Sciences introduced a Siemens 3T scanner and created the Life Sciences MRI Facility. The College of Engineering introduced a GE Discovery MR750 3T scanner and created the Engineering MRI Facility to complement the Small Animal MRI Facility, which houses the Bruker small animal 7T MRI scanner. All three of these facilities now comprise the Purdue MRI Facility.
