Announcements and News

  • 28 Apr: As we did with the concept review meeting earlier in the semester, pizza will be provided after the first round of competition on Thursday. (Just in case you were wondering about dinner that evening...)
  • 28 Apr: Notes about the final competition, and the associated presentation and report, are provided under "Lecture Notes" as "Unit 12 -- Final Presentation." (Key point: each team will be allotted six minutes total for presenting their key findings, and for answering questions from other teams.) Also, please remember to submit your second peer review before Wednesday, 29th April at 5:00 pm.
  • 23 Apr: The robot "arena" will be repainted on Friday afternoon (24 April), and will therefore be unavailable while the paint dries (usually overnight). Once the paint job is finished, please remove your shoes before walking on the playing area, and please try to avoid marking up the white surface with your robot wheels or treads. Thanks!
  • 22 Apr: A reminder that your second (and final) peer review is due next week. Please email your completed form to Dr. Shelton before 5 pm on Wednesday, April 29th.
