When should our team start ordering parts for the semester project? Successful teams usually order parts well before Spring Break, so that they can start assembly as soon as they return to campus. It can often take two weeks or more for parts to be received. So while you may not know your final configuration in early March, you should order basic drive components as early as possible. As your design becomes finalized, additional sensors and actuators can be ordered and integrated into your project.
