Learning Through Real Grid Challenges

GoT connects classroom learning and research with current electric-grid challenges. Students work across power systems, industrial engineering, controls, AI, markets, and power electronics. Industry members help define problems and provide practical context.

How Students Engage

GoT uses member-defined research projects, faculty-led courses, student research teams, seminars, workshops, and industry roundtables. Students present work at consortium events and interact directly with industry members. Educational materials can draw from project results while protecting confidential information.
