Take advantage of short courses and other resources to improve language skills and increase your intercultural awareness. These classes fill fast, so sign up early.
The Oral English Proficiency Program provides the Oral English Proficiency Test (OEPT), which you may need to take before you can serve as a teaching assistant. If needed, you will work with your graduate office to register for this test. The Oral English Proficiency Program also offers English language classes to prospective teaching assistants and has links to additional resources.
This program connects new international Boilermakers with local community hosts for friendship and support as they transition to living in Greater Lafayette.
