First-Year Engineering (FYE) Program advisors

2025-2026 Academic Advising Office Operations

Are you a First-Year Engineering student in West Lafayette with questions or concerns? Your academic advisor is ready to assist.

The first week of each semester is dedicated to drop-in appointments only, both virtual and in person. For the remainder of the semester, it's recommended to schedule in-person or virtual appointments through Boiler Connect to ensure you are able to speak with an assigned advisor. For more urgent or last-minute matters, students are encouraged to come to offices in Dudley Hall 3362 (or check in online) to speak with an advisor at any time during our normal hours of operation. Assigned advisors also will alert students to specific drop-in hours throughout the semester so students have a better chance of connecting with assigned advisors. Whether virtual or in person, advising appointments will be about 30 minutes.

First-Year Engineering Honors Program students are asked to contact their FYE Honors academic advisor for advising and assistance.

Students who are looking to CODO to First-Year Engineering may meet with an FYE academic advisor beginning on the third week of each fall or spring semester (and continuing to the end of the term) after reviewing the FYE CODO policy and watching the CODO video.
