Description: Purdue MIND comprises a multidisciplinary organization focused on promoting and growing the biomedical engineering community at Purdue University by fostering an environment where students can attain the opportunity to engage in medical innovation through solving modern clinical problems by applying their ingenuity, problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial mindsets. Students apply their ingenuity, problem­ solving and entrepreneurial mindsets to create minimum viable products. MIND typically runs three or four medical device development teams in parallel every year with jobs in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, UI/UX, communications, business and more. Members will have the opportunity to participate in community service events, compete in design competitions, discuss current research and network with a wide range of field professionals both within and outside of Purdue University.
