Purdue Graduate Engineering Navigators (GEN) mentor prospective students from their home country/region, share insights from their own experience and actively help other prospective students.

Purdue Language and Cultural Exchange (PLaCE)

Take advantage of short courses and other resources to improve language skills and increase your intercultural awareness. These classes fill fast, so sign up early.

Oral English Proficiency Program (OEPP)

The Oral English Proficiency Program provides the Oral English Proficiency Test (OEPT), which you may need to take before you can serve as a teaching assistant.

International Friendship Program

This program connects new international Boilermakers with local community hosts for friendship and support as they transition to living in Greater Lafayette.
