The Purdue School of Engineering Education (ENE) Graduate Programs Open House is a two-day event on the West Lafayette campus for prospective PhD students in which participants have the opportunity to interact with grad students and faculty, attend a research seminar, tour labs, and learn more about the program.

Each fall, Purdue School of Engineering Education (ENE) Graduate Programs hosts a two-day open house to bring together prospective students from all walks of life, including undergraduate and graduate students from many disciplines as well as professional engineers ready to make a career change. This year's open house will be held October 1-2, 2026, on Purdue's main campus in West Lafayette. For those who cannot travel to campus, we recommend attending the Purdue Engineering Virtual Graduate Showcase (Sep. 27-28, 2026), which will include presentations about our graduate programs.

Open House attendees will:

  • attend a presentation detailing the Ph.D. in Engineering Education and available funding
  • meet one-on-one with faculty
  • attend a seminar that is part of ENE's weekly Research Seminar Series
  • network with faculty and doctoral students
  • tour ENE Research Labs, and attend group presentations on our research labs

Registration is required, and can be completed at:
