Asem is the Lead Instructional Labs and Senior Design Projects Coordinator and began working for the Weldon School in July 2014. He completed his BS and MS in Bioengineering at the University of Toledo and is currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering Education at Purdue University. He currently works with faculty and staff to help coordinate and instruct capstone design course sequence and undergraduate lab courses and facilities; support students' learning; support and mentor teaching assistants; coordinate our curricular assessment; and manage several services for students, faculty, and staff. He is a member of BMES, ASEE, an advisor for Purdue EPICS, AEMB, a student at Purdue ENE and a program evaluator for ABET. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family.
