Program Overview

The 100% online concentration in robotics (ROBO) offers an area of specialization in the Interdisciplinary Master of Science in Engineering (MSE)/ Master of Science (MS) degree. This concentration focuses on the areas of analysis, control, and design of robots. The courses offered in this concentration will establish fundamental theories and tools for modeling, analyzing, and developing techniques in robotics. Robots are playing a significant role in modern society from manufacturing to health care. The robotics concentration supports current and future engineers facing challenges in the design, analysis and control of robotic systems.

Course Topical Areas:

Control Theory Machine Learning
Artificial Intelligence Networks Manipulators
Human-Robot Teaming

Degree Requirements with the Robotics Concentration

The Interdisciplinary Engineering (MSE or MS) degree requires 30 credit hours with at least 18 credits of Purdue, graduate level, engineering courses. The Robotics concentration must be completed within these degree requirements.

Creating Your Plan of Study

The MSE/MS master's program offers a wide range of flexibility in course options. After you begin your studies at Purdue, an academic adviser will help you create an Electronic Plan of Study (EPOS) to best fit your educational needs and career goals.

The student is ultimately responsible for knowing and completing all degree requirements. This website is a knowledge source for specific requirements and completion.
