Admissions Criteria and Deadlines - The Robert H. Buckman College of Engineering Online Education Program - Purdue University

This online dual degree is a partnership between Purdue University’s College of Engineering and the Mitch Daniels School of Business. Applicants to this program will undergo a streamlined admissions process with a separate admissions decision for each of the degree programs, both managed through Purdue.

To apply, you may select either program as your first choice and list the other as your second choice.

Option 1

First Choice Program: Interdisciplinary Engineering (Area of Interest: Dual Degree – MSE/MBT)

Second Choice Program: Management MBT

Option 2

First Choice Program: Management MBT

Second Choice Program: Interdisciplinary Engineering (Area of Interest: Dual Degree – MSE/MBT)

These selections ensure your application is routed correctly for review. You can update your preferences in your application portal under Campus and Program, First Choice Program Details, and Second Choice Program Details.

Applicants for the Master’s in Interdisciplinary Engineering can be admitted to one of two degree objectives:

• The Master of Science (MS) degree is available to applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree that is not in Engineering e.g. Engineering Technology, science, mathematics or other related areas)
• The Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) degree is available to applicants who have completed an undergraduate degree in Engineering.

Applicants to the MS degree objective must complete the Math Prerequisite Checklist demonstrating proof of successful completion of the mathematics prerequisite courses.

Applicants for the Master’s in Interdisciplinary Engineering can be admitted to one of two degree objectives:
