Purdue SAE ran the 2013 car in an autocross hosted by Missouri S&T University. Tire problems caused some handling issues but they didn’t stop our drivers from having a great time! We finished 3rd out of four teams, but we still had a blast. Thanks again to Missouri S&T for setting up an awesome autocross event.
The team got a start on the 2014 competition by testing last year’s car at Grissom Air Force Base. We had a lot of fun testing our aero package and also managed to get some practice in the wet for our drivers.
Come to our callout with Baja SAE and representatives from Chrysler this Monday, 9/16, in ME 1061. There will be presentations from both clubs and from Chrysler on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee!
