Level 4: AI-Builder Requirement
All IE students are already required to complete a capstone project for their bachelor’s degree. The School of IE will introduce new AI elements in the following design courses:
Senior Design (IE 431) Depending on specific projects, students will be instructed to develop new functional components in system designs, optimization models, and user-facing systems using AI tools. This could include the usage of chatbots for brainstorming ideas, implementing code, and providing evaluations.
