Bio

Hometown: Louisville, Kentucky

Tanya is majoring in computer engineering, minoring in biomedical engineering and pursuing a certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation. She is part of the Operations Leadership Team for the Women in Engineering (WiE) Program. Outside of WiE, Tanya works as an undergraduate research assistant in the Mechanisms and Robotic Systems (MARS) Lab studying robotic palpation for healthcare. She is a member of the Data Mine Learning Community, Girls Who Code and the Humanoid Robotics club. In her free time, Tanya enjoys dancing, reading, traveling and learning new languages!
