Over the summer, Alexa interned for Proctor & Gamble in research and development, focusing specifically on their product research team. Alexa loves everything Purdue, especially cheering on the basketball team, and enjoys hanging out with friends, going to concerts and listening to music!
“My favorite thing about the Women in Engineering Program is that it reminds me of what a good community I have supporting me. Studying in a male-dominated field can make it easy to forget my place, but the community that the Women in Engineering Program fosters consistently reminds me that I am just as deserving to be in this major as any of my peers. I feel empowered to succeed and am excited to pass this same support along to other young women interested in engineering.”
