Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana

Castaneda is a co-chair of Volunteer Nights for WE Link. Besides WE Link, Castaneda is also the secretary for Latinos in Science and Engineering, a member of the Society of Women Engineers, and a Purdue Promise Scholar. Over the summer, Castaneda interned as a Controls Systems Components Engineer at Allison Transmission in Indianapolis. She has also interned at Eli Lilly. Outside of school and work, Castaneda loves to read, bake, and play video games.
