Student Organizations
With over 1000 student organizations on campus, there’s probably a group of students with interests just like you! Interested in photography? Check out Photography Club! Like Disney? Disney Appreciation Club might be right for you! Feel like building a car that race against teams from other schools? Oh, boy! We’ve got a couple of organizations that do that! During Boiler Gold Rush (BGR), the B-Involved Fair is a great place to meet members from most organizations, and call-outs generally take place during the first few weeks of the semester for most organizations.
BoilerLink is the official listing of all student organizations on Purdue’s campus, so search for whatever you’re interested in to see what organization’s you could join! Click here!
Greek Life
Around 20% of Purdue’s student body is involved in Greek life through the over 80 fraternities, sororities, and cooperative houses we have on our campus. Recruitment generally takes place during the fall semester, but some organizations also recruit during the spring semester. Greek organizations can provide friendship, academic support, opportunities for civic engagement, and leadership development.
Just like with Student Organizations, there’s a lot of information on Greek life opportunities around campus during the first few weeks of school, but the Fraternity, Sorority, and Cooperative Life website can be a good place to learn more! Click here!
Campus Jobs
Campus jobs can be a great way to make some extra money and stay involved on campus. Common jobs include working in dining halls and residence hall front desks, being an RA or TA, or giving tours. Although PSEFers give tours for free, working at the Office of Admissions or at the Welcome Center can be a fun way to interact with more prospective students! The student employment website is a great resource if you are interested in finding a job. Click here!
