Balancing Your Time
I always tell people how thankful I am to be able to not only pursue an engineering degree at Purdue, but also participate in organizations that are meaningful to me. As a member of the Golduster Dance Team, I have gained several travel opportunities, friends on campus outside of engineering, and unique experiences not in the traditional classroom setting. Although it is a time-consuming extracurricular, it has also made me a more well-rounded person and I truly think it’s amazing that I am able to pursue a passion that has nothing to do with my major. Experiencing athletics at the collegiate level is certainly a highlight of my college career so far and it is definitely possible to take part in activities like these in any engineering major! Performing at Purdue athletic events is such an honor and one of my favorite parts of college and I highly encourage you to get involved with something that interests you here, too!
