2022 Maha Fluid Power Conference

Purdue University, May 17th - 19th

Event description

Purdue’s Maha Fluid Power Research Center invites you to attend the 2022 Maha Fluid Power Conference. The conference will be held at Purdue University from May 17th to 19th. The goal of the conference is to network, exchange ideas, and present the recent research trends in fluid power and related applications. The conference program includes technical presentations, keynote lectures, and a half-day workshop. Social events, such as networking breakfasts, breaks, lunches, and dinners will also be included.

The technical presentations will be given from Purdue speakers as well as external speakers from academia and invited industries. They will cover various topics, such as high efficiency fluid power systems, new hydraulic components, tribology, motion control, electrification, natural gas engines, soft robotics, and autonomous vehicles.

The participants will have the chance to tour the Maha Fluid Power Research Center’s facilities before the dinner on May 18. Participants will have also the chance to tour other Purdue facilities.

The 2022 Maha Fluid Power Conference will have a similar structure of the 2019 CCEFP Summit, which was participated in by approximately 170 conference delegates (more than half from fluid power industry).

Conference Keynote Speakers

The conference will feature two keynote speakers who will present opening lectures on the first two days of proceedings. Maha is honored to welcome Katharina Schmitz and Jürgen Weber, who will speak on May 17th and May 18th, respectively.

Recruiting Event Sponsored by NFPA

NFPA’s University Power Partner Program is a recognition initiative designed to showcase universities that actively participate in all NFPA fluid power educational programs, and Purdue is NFPA’s inaugural Power Partner. This program provides opportunities for NFPA members to connect with students looking to enter the fluid power industry. On May 19th at 1:30 PM, companies are invited to attend a student recruiting event to showcase your company, highlight internships and job opportunities, and network with students. Students enrolled in the College of Engineering, College of Agriculture, and College of Technology are invited. There is no fee to participate in the recruitment event.

The deadline to register for the recruitment event only (forgoing participation in the Maha conference) is May 13. Please register here for the recruiting event only.

Companies and students interested in attending both the Maha Fluid Power Conference and the recruiting event are encouraged to register here for early-bird pricing by April 15. Please select the option of attending the recruiting event on the conference registration site.
