ESC's dynamic tutoring program offers individual and group tutoring sessions for foundational and targeted engineering courses. The sessions, tailored for engineering students, are designed to promote enhanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as deep conceptual understanding of covered topics. Our ESC-trained tutors serve as academic guides, helping students to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in a rigorous academic environment. Students may walk in or plan their visit ahead of time through the bookings page.
Mission modules: engineering concept workshops
Students can strengthen problem-solving skills and overall confidence through workshops. The series is designed to bring engineering students and faculty together for an in-depth exploration of challenging course concepts. The interactive setting thrusts students beyond the classroom lecture materials, creating a space for open dialogue, hands-on problem-solving and connection to real-world engineering applications.
ESC exam preparation sessions
Incorporate exam preparation sessions into your study routine. The sessions aim to offer access to additional problem-solving and exam preparation and review strategies for upcoming exams. They are facilitated by faculty, teaching assistants and/or supplemental instructors.
