CE Research Team Wins K.B. Woods Award for JTRP Project

The Transportation Research Board Executive Committee selected “Ontology-Based Knowledge Management System for Digital Highway Construction Inspection,” as the winner of the K. B. Woods Award.

This award is given each year for the best paper in the design and construction area and will be presented during the TRB Annual Meeting in January, 2020.

Co-authors of the paper include Xin Xu, Chenxi Yuan, Yuxi Zhang, Hubo Cai, Dulcy Abraham, and Mark Bowman.  The authors were recognized during the August 23, 2019, JTRP Executive Committee Meeting by Jim Poturalski, JTRP Executive Committee Chairman, and Tommy Nantung, Project Advisor for the JTRP project.
