The Midwest Network encompasses 12 states and is headquartered at Purdue University.

Along with great leadership training, Army ROTC can pay for your college tuition and provide other monetary benefits. The best part of the ROTC program is that it allows you to have a normal college student experience like everyone else on campus, but when you graduate, you will be a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

Housed in the College of Engineering, PMRI partners with the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force and the Coast Guard to support graduate tuition fellowships for U.S. active-duty officers. Purdue President Chiang vigorously supports this in-resident initiative focusing first on PhD candidates, but also considers highly qualified MS applicants and then matches students with Purdue faculty preferably working on Department of Defense (DOD) and other government-funded research projects.
