Hazar Dib
Director/ Founder

He received his BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering in 2002 from the University of Balamand (Lebanon) and his PhD in Building Construction Management from the University of Florida (USA) in 2007 with Emphasis on Information Sharing and Information Management. He believes that computing and technology are fundamental to the advancement of globalization of science and engineering and he works toward this goal.

His research areas include the integration of 3D technologies in information modeling techniques, development of knowledge acquisition methods and strategies for examining and capturing expert design knowledge, sharing lessons learned and historical data to improve design, increase efficiency in the construction processes, and improve the classroom experience of teaching construction management.

Prior to joining the faculty at Purdue University, Dr. Dib worked on management of commercial construction for major construction management companies.

Dr. Dib is the founder and director of the IVM lab

Clark Cory
Co-Director
