Purdue IE Webletter

Spring 2013

An exciting spring for Purdue IE!

Abhi DeshmukhGreetings to all of the Purdue IE family!

The early months of 2013 have proven to be eventful ones for industrial engineering at Purdue with impressive honors for some of our alumni, students and faculty -- and a notable jump in the US News and World Report rankings for our graduate program! The excitement will continue into the summer as planning continues for our new Student Excellence Center.

I invite to you to read more details about these items in this issue of the Purdue IE Webletter and, as always, please remember to stop by Grissom Hall to say hello the next time you're on campus.

Wishing you all a fun and rejuvenating summer!

Plans are currently under consideration to create a Student Excellence Center for IE undergraduate students near the main entrance of Grissom Hall.  This project would provide students with easy access to advising, collaborative space and other resources to help develop important skills that are not learned in the classroom.
