POSTECH Summer Program

This exclusive opportunity is designed for STEM-major students currently enrolled in overseas institutions.

All admitted students will receive a ✈ ROUND-TRIP FLIGHT TICKET ✈ from their home country to Korea.

📅 6 July – 14 August, 2026 (6 weeks)

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Program Overview (Link)
  • Eligibility: Undergraduate or Master’s student from oversea institutions
  • Research Intensive (min 20 hours per week) under POSTECH Professor
  • Social & Culture Program (once a week)
  • Korean Language Course (optional, approx. 150 USD)
  • Official Transcript with 1 POSTECH credit & Certificate of Participation
  • Important! Purdue students need to apply to the Concurrent Track
  • Lab List

Required Documents

After submitting the online application, students should register IR Portal (Student-Mobility) and submit the following documents:

  • Certificate of Enrollment
  • Official Academic Transcript (in English)
  • Copy of Passport (valid until the end of 2025)
  • Recommendation Letter
  • CV
  • Cover Letter

  • Purdue students should apply through the concurrent track.

Yonsei University- International Summer School (YISS)

The Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) opened its doors in 1985 and since then, YISS has become an integral part of campus life based on a unique blend of Korean and global cultures. YISS continues to grow and evolve, accommodating the needs of a rapidly changing student body and meeting the challenges of a fast-paced global society. The program is open to Purdue students in good standing who have completed at least two semesters of university study by the start of the program. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic success, maturity, and a desire to experience another culture.

International Summer Semester (ISS) and ISS Research Internship at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU)

Spend your summer at Sungkyunkwan University, a university with 628 years of history and tradition located in the heart of Seoul. This is a private research university with campuses in Seoul and Suwon. They offer summer coursework (ISS) and/or research internthips.
