The Leibniz University Hannover- Summer Engineering Research Program allows Purdue engineering majors to carry out research internships under the direction of local faculty members.  Leibniz University Hannover is a member of the TU9, an association of the leading technical universities in Germany.

SUPER is a selective summer research program at the University of Stuttgart designed exclusively for undergraduate students. The length of SUPER varies depending on the research project offered by the hosting institute.  In the past, research placements have lasted two to three months.
