As a Chemical Engineering senior who has benefitted so much from the plethora of resources that Purdue has provided, I would love to see more African Americans enrolled in the different engineering programs here at Purdue. There is a deficit in the number of Black Engineers in Purdue University and we need more Black engineers now more than ever. Black Engineers who will take advantage of the multiple opportunities within the industry. This will help create a better group of diverse leaders who will bring forth ideas from their different backgrounds and help drive the social change in our society.
