From the Dean

Leah H. Jamieson

I am delighted to introduce this first edition of Purdue Engineering Impact Online. It will complement our existing print publication while it allows us to share the College’s news with you a bit more often, and in a timelier, fiscally friendly, and interactive way.

As we make strides with our strategic plan, Extraordinary People, Global Impactwe want to keep you apprised on what we are accomplishing. I place a very high priority on keeping you informed because so many of you helped us define the vision for this strategic plan, and you continue to support us as we do the daily work of achieving the goals we’ve set.

And there is always news to share! I hope that you enjoy this edition, and I invite you to share it with your family, friends, and colleagues.

As always, we value your point of view. If you have a moment to tell us what you think of this edition, or share what you would like to read about in a future edition, we are eager to hear from you.

Sincerely,

Leah Jamieson
