Two Davidson School of Chemical Engineering faculty were recently honored for their excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students.
Rajamani Gounder, the Larry and Virginia Faith Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering, received the inaugural Phillip C. Wankat Graduate Teaching Award in Chemical Engineering. Gounder was chosen by chemical engineering graduate students who have taken graduate-level courses, including Professional Master’s Program enrollees.
Jeffrey Siirola, professor of Engineering Practice, received the 2017 Shreve Award for Outstanding Teaching in Chemical Engineering. Siirola was selected by chemical engineering seniors.
