MEP's Womack Awarded for Work as Learning Community instructor

Virginia Booth Womack, director of the Minority Engineering Program, was recognized with the Learning Community Advocate Award for the fall 2017 semester at the recent Learning Community luncheon.

This is a campus-wide award that recognizes outstanding instructors. The award is presented to one or more learning community instructors and two resident assistants nominated by learning community participants in recognition of efforts going above and beyond expectations in their learning community roles.

Womack is a Purdue University graduate with a B.S. in industrial engineering and a B.A. in psychology.
