Amy Marconnet, assistant professor of mechanical engineering, was named the 2017 ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Electronics and Photonics Packaging Division Woman Engineer of the Year.
Marconnet studies metrology and heat transfer of nanomaterials, such as those that make up lithium-ion batteries in her Marconnet Thermal & Energy Conversion (MTEC) Lab.
