The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) presented a pair of prestigious awards to two Davidson School of Chemical Engineering faculty members for outstanding research and education at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minn., in October 2017.
Rakesh Agrawal, the Winthrop E. Stone Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, received the Alpha Chi Sigma Award for Chemical Engineering Research. The Alpha Chi Sigma Award recognizes an individual researcher’s outstanding accomplishments in fundamental or applied chemical engineering research.
Gintaras Reklaitis, the Burton and Kathryn Gedge Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, received the Warren K. Lewis Award for Chemical Engineering Education. The Lewis Award recognizes distinguished contributions to chemical engineering education.
