Jim Luckring received the NATO Science and Technology Organization AVT Panel Excellence Award and delivered the named Lanchester Lecture at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London.
Luckring (BS ’73, MS ’74) received the NATO award in recognition and appreciation for his longstanding service and extraordinary scientific contribution rendered to the Applied Vehicle Technology Panel (AVT). His lecture was titled “The Discovery and Prediction of Vortex Flow Aerodynamics.”
