Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to inform that David Williams will join our School as the Senior Director of Development, effective August 12, 2013.   In light of David's accomplishments and the high level of annual giving by our alumni, our position was upgraded to the Senior DoD level.

Many of you may recall that David was a part of the Purdue Development team for nine years until his departure earlier this year.  While at Purdue, he served as the Director of Advancement and Director of Development for the College of Engineering, as well as the Associate Director of Planned Giving and the UDO Communications Coordinator in Purdue Marketing Communications.   David left Purdue earlier this year to become the Senior Major Gift Officer at the Riley Children's Foundation in Indianapolis.

David brings a wealth of experience to our position.  He has worked with our School's alumni and I for major fundraising projects in the past, and will be able to immediately make an impact within our School.
