Professor Mark Lundstrom will be giving a free on-line short course, “Fundamentals of Nanotransistors” beginning in January.  It is a 4-week course - stretched out to 8 weeks just to give busy people time to complete the course.  The first half is about conventional MOSFET theory, which will be a review for many.  The second half develops the transmission model for nano transistors, relates it to the MIT Virtual Source model, and discusses how to use the model to characterize modern transistors.

The course will be given through edX, but the easiest way to find it is at nanoHUB-U
