Purdue Engineering Faculty Receive Prestigious Highly Cited Researcher Recognition
Three faculty members from the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering have been named on Clarivate’s 2023 list of Highly Cited Researchers (HCR). The HCR names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top one-percent by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science citation index, and the list identifies the research institutions and countries where they are based.
Purdue ECE Professors Alexander Kildishev, Vladimir Shalaev, and Peide “Peter” Ye are among the honorees. This marks Kildishev’s third appearance, recognized or his work in nanophotonics and metamaterials. Shalaev, listed for the seventh time, is noted for his contributions to physics, particularly in nanophotonics and plasmonics. Ye, also a three-time HCR, is known for his innovative work in electronic materials.
Purdue ECE faculty have frequently appeared on the HCR list since its inception in 2014, showcasing the school’s ongoing impact and excellence in research.
