Prof. Seungkyoon Kang Visits Purdue for Kickoff Meeting on Bioresorbable Semiconductor Project
Professor Seungkyoon Kang from Seoul National University visited Purdue University to attend the kickoff meeting for a newly funded international research collaboration focused on the development of bioresorbable semiconducting electronics.
The meeting marked the formal launch of a joint effort between Purdue University and Seoul National University to develop advanced electronic devices that can safely degrade in biological environments. These technologies are expected to significantly reduce the need for secondary surgical procedures in medical applications.
During the visit, researchers from both institutions discussed project milestones, technical objectives, and upcoming collaborative tasks. The kickoff event also served as a platform to strengthen research ties between the two universities and lay the groundwork for long-term cooperation in the field of biodegradable electronics.
