This Industrial Roundtable (IR) Networking Event is an annual opportunity for BME students to interact with the
biomedical companies that participated in IR in a more personal setting.
The event consists of various rotations of group networking between students
and company representatives followed by a 1 on 1 networking scene.

BMES Warsaw Day
The Professional Development team held their first Industry Travel Day to Warsaw, IN,
also known as the Orthopedic Capital of the World. This amazing free opportunity allows students to tour and
meet with representatives from some of the top medical device companies in the nation! This event includes
building tours, Q&As, and guest speakers. The companies include Zimmer Biomet, IMD (Instrumental Machine & Development), and DePuy Synthes.

BME students had an amazing time at our Starry Night-themed spring formal. It was the perfect opportunity to take a
break from schoolwork and enjoy a night of delicious food catered by Purdue Memorial Union, lively music, games, and dancing!

After a halt of festivities due to the pandemic, two years ago, the executive board reactivated the BME Spring Formal to
encourage social connections across the biomedical engineering undergraduate community at Purdue.
