Setup Authorization for Site Maintainers

This tool will create two objects in the / folder. These will be used to grant others access to manage or maintain the content within the / folder.

authorize

A Python Script which assigns roles to users when the log into the site. This script will accesses the authorizeManagers persistent list object to determine what roles should be assigned to a user.

authorizeManagers

A Persistent List object which holds the fully qualified names from the Purdue Electronic Directory for the users who should have the Manager role within the / site. Add qualified names one per line to this list grant a user Manager level access.

Click the button below to create these objects. Then add fully qualified names from the Purdue Electronic Directory to the Persistent Lists to grant access to maintain the / folder.
