Solid Mechanics @ Purdue is a disciplinary interest group of faculty members who conduct research and teach in the general area of solid mechanics.

This group is comprised of researchers with expertise in a wide range of topics. Research spans across length and time scales, encompasses a wide range of material systems, and employs numerical, analytical and computational methods. Faculty members are active in both fundamental studies and technology applications.
