About

I'm a Ph.D. student studying Computer Architecture with advisor Dr. Timothy G. Rogers at Purdue, School of ECE. My research aims to bridge the gap between high-level software programming practices and highly-performant (but specialized) hardware designs.

I'm interested in all things related to the computer microarchitecture! Some current research ideas on my desk include GPGPU architecture for GEMM workloads, and CPU Runahead Execution. I have also contributed to the RTL modelling of the hardware ray tracer datapath, and a component called the “operand collector” found in GPGPUs. Prior to joining graduate school, I obtained my bachelor's degree of science in electrical engineering at Purdue ECE and had spent three years in the “advanced class of mathematics and physics for informatics” of HUST in Wuhan, China.
