Our Research
Welcome to the Lukens Quantum Networking Lab website! Led by Dr. Joseph Lukens at Purdue University, our group focuses primarily on experimental quantum photonics with an emphasis on fiber-optic communications. Specifically, our research spans quantum networking, high-dimensional quantum information, and photonic systems for secure and scalable quantum communication. In addition to this experimental work, we investigate statistical and computational methods, such as Bayesian inference and Monte Carlo techniques for the characterization and analysis of quantum systems.
