Jinying Wang's Biography
Jinying Wang is currently a post-doctor in Prof. Klimeck and Dr. Kubis’s group. She is mainly focusing on:
- developing effective Hamiltonian and device models of topological superconductors in NEMO5;
- modeling of spin orbit torque and screening for optimal materials and devices;
- design of UV-LED based on 2D materials such as hexagonal boron nitride;
She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Beijing Normal University in China. She finished her Ph. D research in Peking University (2014), which includes a series of theoretical studies on structure, electronic structure, and carrier mobility of nanoscale materials and devices using first-principles calculations and tight-binding analysis. From 2015 to 2017, she worked as a post-doctor in the University of Tokyo, conducting DFT simulation of transition metal carbides and silicon carbides.
To date, she has published over 25 papers in high-quality journals with citation more than 1800 times, and her h-index is 18 now (see Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=zh-CN&user=vPPp6K0AAAAJ&view_op=list_works&sortby=pubdate).
