If you notice a new icon in your toolbar icons, this is not a phishing attempt or a virus; it is BeyondTrust Privilege Management.  It is a new tool that will allow Purdue IT to be able to remotely assist you with computer-related needs.  If you have any questions on this, please submit a ticket via https://engineering.purdue.edu/support 

This weekend, a new AppsAnywhere site will be made available to everyone at Purdue University. Software Remote (goremote.itap.purdue.edu) and the old AppsAnywhere (appsanywhere.ecn.purdue.edu) will be redirected to the new central AppsAnywhere. A new AppsAnywhere client is required to access this new system. If you do not have the AppsAnywhere client installed already, you can find "AppsAnywhereClient 2.7.0" in Software Center. If you already have an older version of the client installed, "AppsAnywhereClient-RemoveAll" should be visible. Install that, reboot (required), and then install "AppsAnywhereClient 2.7.0".
