If you notice a new icon in your toolbar icons, this is not a phishing attempt or a virus; it is BeyondTrust Privilege Management. It is a new tool that will allow Purdue IT to be able to remotely assist you with computer-related needs. Engineering Success Center accepting applications for Tutors

The Engineering Success Center is now accepting applications for tutors to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. Students must have successfully passed the course(s) for which they will tutor with a grade of B or better and have a minimum GPA of 3.2. This is a paid position with a tutor training requirement and a minimum commitment of 6 hours per week of active tutoring. Further details are outlined within the application.
Additional Information: We are specifically looking for tutors who can tutor FYE courses and at least one additional 200- and 300–level engineering major course listed in the tutor application for a minimum of two courses (max. three courses).

New AppsAnywhere tool

This weekend, a new AppsAnywhere site will be made available to everyone at Purdue University. Software Remote (goremote.itap.purdue.edu) and the old AppsAnywhere (appsanywhere.ecn.purdue.edu) will be redirected to the new central AppsAnywhere. A new AppsAnywhere client is required to access this new system. If you do not have the AppsAnywhere client installed already, you can find "AppsAnywhereClient 2.7.0" in Software Center. If you already have an older version of the client installed, "AppsAnywhereClient-RemoveAll" should be visible. Install that, reboot (required), and then install "AppsAnywhereClient 2.7.0".
