Part of our funding goes towards outreach events in the community. Purdue AIAA participates in a wide range of activities, from helping kids in the Lafayette community to teaching people of all ages about aeronautics and astronautics as well as inspiring younger generations to learn more about the aerospace field.
A good portion of our funding also goes towards our student lead technical projects. These currently include the Design Build Fly Team, the High Altitude Balloon Team, the Exo-suit Design Team and the Space Transportation Team. Your donation can help us expand this list to include more projects and help our members gain relevant experience for their careers.
Purdue AIAA also hosts many faculty meetings and presentations, where our members can learn from the experience and knowledge of Purdue's distinguished faculty. During the meetings we provide refreshments to our guests and members.
Purdue AIAA also hosts many industry representatives from companies like Lockheed Martin, SpaceX, Northrop Grumman, Rolls Roys, etc. Providing our members networking and internship opportunities.
