Bio

Kaitlyn is a sophomore majoring in industrial engineering and pursing minors in statistics, behavioral economics, and management. She is currently involved in Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers and the WiE M&M program.

She loves watching Purdue sports and works as an intern for Purdue’s athletic management team. Outside of academics, she enjoys playing tennis, hiking and reading. In the summer of 2025, she will be studying thermodynamics abroad in Italy.

“I loved ENGR 194 because it offered valuable insight into the personal and professional journeys of the guest speakers including their achievements, setbacks and growth. It was encouraging to hear that many of them changed career paths, failed exams or switched jobs, yet still found success. Hearing their stories helped boost my confidence and reminded me that it's normal to face challenges. As you go through your freshman year, it’s comforting to know you’re not alone. Everyone experiences ups and downs, and there’s no one right path to success.”
