Grad WiE Network Leadership

Ruiz is is a structural engineering PhD student from the Chicagoland area. She received a BS in engineering and BA in music performance at Cornell College and completed her MS in structural engineering at Purdue University. She is currently working with professors Julio Ramirez and Mirian Velay-Lizancos to study the structural and material properties of fiber reinforced concrete. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, painting and dancing.
