Hunt, a first-year student from Greenfield, Indiana, is majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University in Indianapolis. She has always wanted to attend Purdue for engineering and she is enjoying her first year here.  When she has free time, she loves to watch movies, go for runs, and read outside.

"Joining Women in Engineering(WiE) as a freshman has really helped me go outside of my comfort zone. It is a great way to meet new people and develop relationships. Before joining, I didn’t know that many people on campus. Now, I recognize people all around me in and out of class. In a city like Indy, knowing there are people who recognize you is a great feeling.”
